The final date for Eid-ul-Azha will be confirmed after the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee’s meeting on May 27. If the moon is sighted on May 27, Eid will be celebrated on June 6; otherwise, June 7 remains the likely date. Authorities expect similar participation to last year when over 680,000 animals were sacrificed nationwide.

With these preparations, provincial governments aim to ensure smooth operations during the festival while maintaining public order, hygiene standards, and traffic flow. Citizens are advised to only use official markets and report any illegal setups through designated helplines. The arrangements reflect the significance of Eid-ul-Azha in Pakistan, where the festival not only carries religious importance but also substantial economic activity around livestock trading and community celebrations.
